Photo : Corps member survives suicide attempt at Ekiti State NYSC camp

One of the corps members at the NYSC Orientation camp in Ekiti state was, on Friday morning, found in a pool of blood on his bed in one of the male hostels, by a fellow corps member after electric power was restored around 3:00am. He was quickly rushed to the Camp clinic where he regained consciousness.

He was then taken to the Ekiti State Teaching Hospital, Ado Ekiti for further treatment. He later confessed to have stabbed himself with a louvre. He revealed that he has been having nightmares with masquerades chasing him since his University days. And he has been battling with the problem since then but was fed up and thus attempted to commit suicide. He has since been decamped.
