all those who visited Samstel Clinic in Rumuokoro, Port Harcourt, in the last few weeks to report to the ministry to get tested.
Samstel is the hospital where Dr Ikye Enemoah, who died of Ebola, worked.

you are kindly urged to report to the Rivers State Health Ministry!
"Please search yourself and if this concerns you, please go and get tested immediately.

Port Harcourt, please look for where to give up yourself. Everything is
being done to curb the spread.
Please do your little part to help. Do not hide family members who you think might be infected." God bless you as you Obey!

The legendary comedienne remains hospitalized following routine procedure.
Joan Rivers continues to remain hospitalized in New York City.
Sources
close to Joan tell ET that the legendary comedienne is in a medically
induced coma following a routine endoscopy. Not long after the procedure
started, she stopped breathing and was then rushed to Mount Sinai Hospital.
Joan's
daughter Melissa Rivers flew to New York from Los Angeles on a flight
that landed at 7:40 p.m. ET, but airport security informed crews that
they snuck her out of an alternate entrance.
"I
want to thank everyone for the overwhelming love and support for my
mother," Melissa said in a statement to ET. "She is resting comfortably
and is with our family. We ask that you continue to keep her in your
thoughts and prayers."
Just yesterday the funny lady was making the rounds at New York City-based magazines to promote her new book Diary of a Mad Woman. She also filmed Fashion Police earlier this week appearing perfectly healthy and on her game.

Abuja (AFP) - Nigeria's
President Goodluck Jonathan on Thursday launched a national electronic
identity card scheme, which backers said would boost access to financial
and government services in Africa's most populous nation.
The head of state was issued with his own card,
which features a credit card-style chip with personal as well as
biometric data and doubles up as a prepaid charge and debit card.
A
number of Nigerian government agencies, from the police to the
Independent National Electoral Commission, have embarked on their own
separate ID card schemes.
But
Jonathan said the plan was to eventually include details such as
driving licence, health insurance, tax and pension information on the
single card.
"The regime of
duplication of biometric databases must now have to give way to
harmonisation and unification with the e-ID scheme, which shall be the
primary database," he told reporters.
Only 32 percent of Nigeria's adult population are thought to have bank accounts, according to a 2012 study.

Nigeria's central bank has
been pushing for a move away from cash to electronic payments and has
trialled a scheme in the financial capital, Lagos, with the help of
private partners.
But the
pilot project has not been plain sailing, with retailers and customers
often facing frequent power supply and connectivity problems that slowed
down transactions.
The cards will be available initially to Nigerians aged 16 and older and all residents in the country for more than two years.

According to reports, Hollywood royalty Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt,
who have been together for 9 years and share 6 children, are now
married.
The couple's publicist said they quietly got married last weekend
Saturday 23rd at a very private ceremony attended by family and friends
in Chateau Miraval, France. Angie and Brad's kids are said to have
participated in the wedding. Her oldest two sons, Maddox and Pax walked
her down the aisle, while their daughters Shiloh and Knox served as ring

A
doctor, who secretly treated a diplomat who had contact with the index
case, Liberian-American Patrick Sawyer, has died of Ebola in Nigeria.
The doctor, who has yet to be
named, died on Friday. His wife has also taken ill and has been
quarantined in Port Harcourt. Interestingly, the diplomat the doctor
treated is still alive.

The diplomat, who was part of the team who met with Patrick Sawyer in
Lagos, flew to Port Harcourt, Rivers State for treatment, evading
Nigerian federal government surveillance for the disease. The late
doctor then took him to a hotel for treatment.
As a result of this, 70 people have been quarantined. The doctor's
hospital, Good Heart Hospital in Rivers State, has been shut down. The
unnamed hotel, where the secret treatment took place, has also been shut
down.
The Minister of Health and the Rivers State government are expected to make a statement on the incident tomorrow.

Minister of Health Prof. Onyebuchi Chukwu said today that
Nigeria has been able to reduce the number of Ebola cases to just one.
At a press briefing held today August 26th in Abuja,
Prof. Onyebuchi said only one patient out of the 13 confirmed cases in
Nigeria is still at the Isolation center. He said five of those infected
died while seven have successfully recovered and have been discharged. He
also said two of the nurses who attended to Patrick Sawyer at
the First Consultant hospital were discharged yesterday.

"Of these thirteen, five, including the index case unfortunately did not
survive the disease and are now late. However, seven of the infected
persons were successfully managed
at the Isolation ward in Lagos and have been discharged home.
"Two of treated patients, a male doctor and a female nurse were
discharged yesterday evening, 25th August, 2014 having satisfied the
criteria for discharge.
"I wish to reassure Nigerians and indeed the global community that
the Government shall remain vigilant and will not relent as Government
continues to work with her partners to ensure that the disease is kept
out of the country. Thank you.”
Phaedra Parks is reportedly planning to divorce husband Apollo Nida, which appears to be a good financial decision for the Real Housewives of Atlanta star.
Nida, who has already been sentenced to eight years in federal prison for fraud, has now been hit with a restitution penalty of nearly $2 million.
He has reportedly been given a lien that orders him to pay it back in
full within 20 years or else risk paying an additional 25 percent of the
original amount.
If Phaedra Parks were to stay with Nida, that would mean helping pick
up the tab of approximately $100,000 a year for each of the next 20
years.
But reports indicate that Parks has no intention of sticking around
that long. Sources have said there are deep problems between the couple,
and Phaedra wasn’t even in the building when a judge sentenced Nida to
prison for eight years.

Apollo Nida was furious that his wife couldn’t be there to support him,
saying: “I mean, my wife didn’t even f**king show up for my sentencing.
I’m still salty about that.”

Los Angeles (CNN) -- Gunshots inside a
celebrity-filled Sunset Strip party hosted by Chris Brown wounded three
people early Sunday, a Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department spokesman
said.
Former rap mogul Marion "Suge" Knight was among the wounded, a sheriff's deputy confirmed.
All three victims, two men and a woman, are expected to recover from their gunshot wounds, Deputy Jeff Gordon told CNN.
The shooting happened inside the 1 Oak club on Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood at 1:30 a.m., Gordon said.
Brown posted a tweet
after the incident: "It's disappointing that we as a society can't have
fun or enjoy ourselves without any altercations sometimes. Miss me with
the bulls**t!!!"

Kinshasa (AFP) - The
Democratic Republic of Congo on Sunday confirmed its first two cases
this year of Ebola but claimed they were unrelated to the epidemic
ravaging West Africa.
"The results
are positive. The Ebola virus is confirmed in DRC," Health Minister
Felix Kabange Numbi told AFP, referring to tests undertaken on people
after an unidentified fever killed 13 in the northwest Equateur province
this month.
"After analysing
eight samples taken in the field, the National Institute of Biomedical
Research has just confirmed that two of those samples test positive for
Ebola," Kabanga said later on public television.
He said the
confirmation marked the seventh outbreak of Ebola in DR Congo, where the
virus was first identified in 1976 near the Ebola River.
The two new cases had "no link to [the epidemic] raging in West Africa," Kabange said, adding that further tests were under way.
"The experience gained during the six past Ebola epidemics will be put to use to contain the illness," he said.
Kabange
said the outbreak was "contained" in the area near Jera, more than
1,200 kilometres (750 miles) northeast of the Congolese capital
Kinshasa.
Ebola was first
identified in 1976 in Equateur province in what was once the former
Zaire and as well as in a separate outbreak in Sudan.
Earlier
this week Kabange had announced the deaths of 13 people with
haemorrhagic symptoms, and had said dozens of others who had come into
contact with them were being monitored.
Congolese authorities have
recently taken preventive health measures, including provisions for the
safe burial of infected corpses and strict control of passengers
arriving from affected countries.
Ebola
is spread by contact with an infected person's bodily fluids, such as
sweat and blood, and no cure or vaccine is currently available.
The WHO said Friday that the death toll had risen to 1,427, all of them in Guinea, Liberia, Sierra Leone and Nigeria.
