The tragic event happened
at Adekunle Ajasin university, Ondo State. According to reports, Ewaweron
Oluwamuyiwa aka Mafuge, a 400 level student of Psychology, died today after he
was allegedly beaten by a set of Cadet members, led by former CO Adedoyin Adeola aka Iron Body.
He was said to have been
attacked on Monday the 30th of November at about 1am during his Villa (Shanghai
Villa) day. He was already sleeping when Iron body and his boys barged into his
room and started beating him. They only stopped when he started gasping.
He was subsequently rushed to Iwaro General
Hospital by the same people beating him. They reportedly told the doctor that
they saw him drunk by the road side. He was in Coma and had two surgeries
before he finally died today
Iron Body is currently at
large but the SSS have opened investigation into the matter. The university’s
Student Union has also released a statement advising Iron Body to surrender
himself to the police. For now, the question on everybody’s lips is “What did
Mafuge do to deserve a beating that led to his death from Iron body and his
boys?”
