So sad Actor Taye Diggs and Wife Idina Menzel Splits after a decade of marriage.

Taye Diggs and Idina Menzel, who met on the set of the original production of the Broadway musical Rent in 1995, have decided to call it quits after 10 years of marriage. Their reps say the decision was mutual.

Taye and Idina, who married in 2003, had a son named Walker in 2009, and they are making him their top priority right now.

“Idina Menzel and Taye Diggs have jointly decided to separate at this time,” reps for the couple tell People magazine. “Their primary focus and concern is for their son. We ask that you respect their privacy during this time.”

We’re so sad to hear that Taye and Idina have split but we’re glad that they seem to be handling it as maturely as possible.
