Kim Kardashian & Kanye West
Kanye West is notorious for not liking to
be teased, although he definitely can be accused of inviting it! Kim
Kardashian and Kanye West welcomed daughter North on
June 15th, 2013—and the jokes began. She will certainly be a big fan of
One Direction; hopefully, she has a good sense of direction; did Kanye
have stock in the defunct airline; the list goes on… Kim & Kanye
call North, Nori for short, because who doesn’t want a nickname that
means edible seaweed?
Lil’ Kim
Lil’ Kim gave birth to a daughter, on June 9th, 2014, who has a not-so-little moniker – Royal Reign.
No one ever called Lil’ Kim conservative! And she sure didn’t hold back
when bestowing this redundant, royal name on her daughter. Lil’ Kim may
have been inspired by her watch collection, named Royalty, or perhaps
her nickname “Queen Bee” or maybe she just harbors delusions of royalty.
(Royal’s father’s name is also unusual, People’s Hernande
Holly Madison and Pasquale Rotella
Holly Madison sure likes lights in the
sky! Maybe that’s what attracted her to Hollywood and Las Vegas in the
first place. Her boyfriend, Pasquale Rotella also has a penchant for
lights. He is the owner of Insomniac Events, the mastermind behind
Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC), a giant rave festival held in Las Vegas.
It is no surprise that they gave their daughter the colorful name, Rainbow Aurora
Macy Gray
Macy’s third child must have been named
during a positive mood swing in the manic-depressive singer,
songwriter’s life. His name is Happy. Macy divorced her
mortgage broker husband, Tracy Hinds, while pregnant with her son, who
is now a teenager. How are you feeling today, Happy?
Meg Ryan
It took Meg Ryan awhile to settle on the name Daisy
for her adopted daughter. She was initially going to name her Rae and
then switched to Charlotte. She was Charlotte for about a month, when
Meg changed the name again to Daisy. She has said that Charlotte didn’t
fit the little girl’s ridiculously happy personality. Daisy was the
happiest name Meg Ryan could think of… It seems Macy Gray can think of a
happier one…
