A man took 35 viagra pills in one hour and ended up in hospital with an erection for whole five days, Withernsea, Yorkshire, England, UK.
Daniel Medforth was partying with his friends for two days when he decided to swallow the anti-impotence tablets “for a laugh”. But that was a huuuge mistake and soon he deeply regretted his actions.
A father-of-two tried to cope with the erection by himself but with no success and when the things get worse he eventually confessed to his wife, who immediately phoned an ambulance.
Recalling the events of that day Daniel said: “I ended up feeling sick, dizzy and hallucinating. Everything I saw was green.
And I had a massive erection that would not go away. The paramedics were very professional but you could see they were trying not to laugh. The doctors and nurses told me off.
It wasn’t a permanent erection but every time I brushed against something for five days it sprang into life. Fortunately my wife has forgiven me and I realise I have been very, very lucky.”
Doctors say that consequences of a prolonged erection could have been more serious. Viagra overdoses can result in a range of cardiovascular symptoms including chest pain, fainting, irregular heartbeat, low blood pressure, heart attack, and even death.
