Police are reportedly looking into claims that Bobbi Kristina Brown was attacked before she was found unresponsive in the bath.
Details of the new allegations come to light just one day after it was reported that Bobbi-Kristina is approaching her final hours, with the star remaining in a coma and on a life support machine as her brain function is said to be "significantly diminishing".
Bobbi Kristina's father, Bobby Brown, has refused to switch off his daughter's life support and has urged America to "Pray for a miracle."
Doctors treating the aspiring singer are said to have told her family that there is little more that they can do for her, with Bobby saying in a statement: "Bobbi is not dead, if America think she's dead then they won't pray for her.
"Please pray for her."
Bobbi Kristina's cousin, Jerod Brown, also shared that her chance of survival is very small, saying: "Though it seems the odds are against her, though doctors don't see any hope for change, though we might want to pay a detective and find out how she got there, it looks impossible for her to stand again."
Just days before Bobbi Kristina was found, her family were said to be at loggerheads over Whitney Houston's estate, with Bobbi set to inherit it all when she turned thirty.
However, her grandmother was worried that she would waste the money, and her partner, Nick, who was taken in by Whitney when he was aged nine, claimed that she told him she would leave him some of her fortune.
A family source revealed: “This is almost certainly going to be messy. There is a lot of money at stake here and it isn’t rightfully anybody’s apart from Krissy’s.
"Should she die, there will be a battle to win it.
“Nick believes that it should be his because Whitney promised him many years ago, and also as partner of Krissy, he should get it.
“The Houstons will be determined
to fight to keep their beloved Whitney’s fortune in the family. That
seems the right thing to do."
