Must be nice to be Eddie Murphy! The 53-year-old actor showed off his gorgeous girlfriend, Paige Butcher, 35, at the Hercules premiere in Los Angeles on Wednesday.
The Australian model, who has been featured in Maxim and Fitness, stunned in a gray Herve Leger bandage dress. The curve-hugging frock was certainly flattering, and allowed Butcher to highlight her best assets while showing off her killer sense of style. Meanwhile, the comedian kept it casual in sunglasses, a black shirt, and jeans.
Clearly, Murphy had no problem letting Butcher steal the show. Can you blame him?
Murphy and Butcher — who attended the premiere in support of the actor's close friend and colleague, Hercules director Brett Ratner — made their red carpet debut in November 2012. However, the model has explained that she tries to stay out of the limelight as much as possible, which is why she doesn't have any social media accounts.
"I’m in a relationship with a celebrity, so I felt like there’s already enough of me out there," she told Vanity Fair last year. "I felt like I was giving out too much information. I was giving people too much access. I like to keep as much private as possible now. As you say, people will use anything against you. The more you put out, the more you get back. I just wasn’t using it. And I was really boring. I would just post my volunteer work."
Butcher, who has appeared in films like Something’s Gotta Give and Big Momma’s House 2, also revealed that she's not interested in an acting career.
"I moved to L.A. mainly for the lifestyle," she told the magazine. "Living in New York after 14 years, I’m such an outdoors kind of person. I love gardening and building things. I like restoring old furniture… I've laid electrical, I've made brick paving paths and walls, laid dry wall, hung doors, doorframes… I really enjoy it. I'm very artistic. I find it's very therapeutic. I'm definitely a perfectionist."
To make her even more unique (and us somewhat hate her), Butcher revealed she doesn't have to work too hard to maintain her fit figure: "I'm not a gym rat. I'm not a gym person — I've never been. I've always been blessed to be thin. If I'm waiting for the kettle to boil, I'm doing 15 lunges."
Yep. Must be nice to be Eddie Murphy.
