TIPS On How To Dress For Rainy Season

The rains have been here for over four months now, and rather than abating have grown even more aggressive, pouring almost ceaselessly everyday.

It can definitely be tough to dress for a rainy day. From what type of material you can wear to how to stay dry without sacrificing style, dressing for the rainy season needs a little planning.
Here are some tips to get you through the season.
Colour
Add colour! Most people go with dark colours on a rainy day, but don’t be scared to wear something bright and fun on a rainy day. Bad weather can be depressing, so why not go out of your way to wear something non-depressing and cute?
Always carry an umbrella

It can be annoying to carry extra luggage around all day, but during the rainy season, an umbrella is your trusted friend. . If you’re trying to add a little class to your outfit, don’t worry a cute umbrella can also be an accessory. Plus there’s really no reason to stick to basic black. Buy a couple in your favorite colours and use them to add color to your look.
Pick your outfit carefully

Be careful of the materials you wear in rain. I’m sure you probably know this already, but just in case… Suede is off-limits in rain because water usually ruins it. Don’t risk ruining your clothes – go with rubber, pleather, or protectant-treated leather shoes in rain and leave your favorite suede outfit at home.
Get a tote bag

It can be canvas, nylon, something in between — it doesn’t have to fully water-repellant, but it shouldn’t shrivel at the first drop of moisture. The trick is to find a tote that not only holds all your miscellaneous necessities but also holds your actual handbag. That way, when the rain stops, and you want to pull out your leather pride-and-joy, you’re good to go!
Invest In Rubber Shoes

Rubber shoes are perfect for the rainy season. They’re perfect because they do not in any way get affected by water and can be easily cleaned.  Rubber shoes or sandals can be worn anywhere, even to work! If you work, you can wear rubber shoes to work and change into your work shoes when you get into the office.
Am sure with these TIPS una no go need worry about the weather affecting your movement.
