The richest man in the world was welcomed to Everton’s Finch Farm training base on Monday.
However, the Toffees are not the latest club subject to a takeover bid. Instead, Bill Gates visited the blue half of Merseyside to help promote Sport Relief.
The co-founder of Microsoft, the world’s largest PC software company, is worth an estimated $79billion (£55.4billion) and spent time at the Blues’ training base with Chancellor George Osborne.
