Ciara Talks Status With Future, Their Son, Alleged Shade From Tamar Braxton, & More With The Breakfast Club

Ciara has been through quite a whirlwind of events over the past 12 months, but it looks like everything has completely changed for the better.

The “I Bet” singer is now a new mommy to her baby son Future, despite currently being single after her breakup with ex-fiancĂ© Future, but she seems to be in a happy place.

CiCi stopped by the Breakfast Club this morning to promote her upcoming album Jackie, where she addressed a slew of topics with DJ Envy and Angela Yee, as Charlamagne Tha God was absent, and gave fans an update on everything.

Speaking on her status with her ex, how they co-parent, and what a blessing her son has been were some of the highlights of the interview.
On why her and Future broke up:
“It clearly didn’t work out. But I have the greatest gift, the greatest joy of my life is my son. I feel like everything in life happens for a reason and my son has been the greatest gift that God has given me in my life, and been the most game-changing thing that has happened in my life in a necessary way.”
“I can’t really break all that down. I don’t even think it really matters to tell you the truth, especially when the ending is as great as it is with my son. That’s what worked out—my son.”
On how the two are doing right now as co-parents:
“We’re cool. We have a child together and I think as a parent it’s important to be able to communicate even if you don’t talk. We don’t talk every day. There’s no need to. But my son is clearly the connection between he and I. As parents I think it’s important to be able to communicate. I like to stay happy and I like to live life light and make the best of life.”

On how her son has changed her life for the better:
“My son has given me so much clarity and I couldn’t be any more clear than I needed to be. I definitely know a lot of things that I don’t want. I really know. I have to make sure I’m making the best decisions to make the universe right for him.”
On why she dated Future, despite having babies with multiple women:
“I’m human and I went with love in that situation. You can be with someone that has no kids and he can be the biggest jerk in the world. At the end of the day, I roll with love and my son’s father I really believe had the greatest intentions to love me and a beautiful thing came from that.”
She also talked about her new album Jackie on the way:
“I want to take people on a journey with me, just to hear my voice and where I am right now. My whole new chapter of life. It’s just a whole new thing happening with me and what better way to express it than through music.”
Lastly, she even addressed the alleged shade from Tamar Braxton, where she liked an insulting meme of Ciara singing:
“If she was trying to say something crazy, I really don’t care. I’m gonna take it as she wasn’t trying to do anything funny and she was being sincere.”
We’re glad to see Ciara in such a great place, and we can’t wait to see what’s in store for her album.

See What Obanikoro Wore For An Official Meeting With UN Reps And President GEJ

The Senator should have known better. Senator Musiliu Obanikoro was "attractively looking odd" at an official meeting on Thursday between a joint delegation of UNOWA (United Nations for West Africa) -UNOCA (United Nations Regional Office for Central Africa) officials led by Mohammed Ibn Chambas and Abdoulaye Bathily and the Nigerian delegation led by the ever smiling president Jonathan, at the presidential villa.

While the notable men who knew they were coming for an official meeting with international colleagues were donned in glamourous attires and footwears, our very own Minister of State II, Foreign Affairs, Senator Musiliu Obanikoro wore a Birkenstock slippers to the OFFICIAL meeting. The Senator's dressing may seem casual to some people but nothing is casual when it comes to matters of the presidency/Federal Government (even their salaries and allowances are not casual). Senator Obanikoro should have known what to put on for a high caliber meeting like that and not dress like someone going for his traditional wedding. All the same, the Senator is still my number one fan.

Lol.

MY KIDNAP STORY: NANNY SPEAKS ON THEIR MODUS OPERANDI

Fumilayo Adeyemi, alias Mary Akinloye, who while posing as a nanny, was recruited through an online portal, OLX, and disappeared with the children of Mr. and Mrs. Leke Orekoya, a day after her employment has been arrested by police.

Adeyemi, alias Mary Akinloye , was paraded yesterday, and she narrated how her gang , comprising her family ( mother-in-law, her two sons and their wives), formed a kidnapping gang to extort money from the rich.
The children are: Aderomola, 11-month-old, Adedamola, 4, and Ademola, 6. The distraught parents later received a call to pay N15 million in ransom. Adeyemi gave an insight to the police on the modus operandi of her gang, saying the recent incident was not their first. She said they were behind the abduction of two brothers, Michael and Rafael Esharegaran from their home at Magodo, Lagos while also posing as a maid.

The Esharegarans were said to have paid N10 million, though the police denied knowledge of the payment then. Adeyemi, a mother of four, said her husband, also part of the syndicate, disclosed only N2.5 million ransoms.

Besides Adeyemi, who was the only member of the gang arrested, other suspects are her mother in- law, Mrs. Kareem (other name not yet known), Megida Akanni Kareem, Akeem Kareem and Ajoke Oseni (Akeem’s wife). Other members of the gang are on the run.

Adeyemi said she was forced to be a kidnapper and the idea to kidnap the Orekoya children was conceived by Oseni who sold it to her husband as well as hers. She said: “It was my husband and my brotherin- law who pushed me into this. They got the nanny job for me and taught me what to do.
“The first day I resumed, I waited for the parents to go out. My madam is a banker, so I took the kids. I put the smallest one on my back and I took them straight to our house. When I got home, my husband and his brother welcomed me and praised me for my action.
“They put a telephone call to the parents and demanded N15 million. I told them that amount was too much. The next day, they reduced it to N13 million. My mother-in-law, who lives with us, was not happy about the whole thing. I was really unhappy too when I realised that all the dailies have started carrying the news.
Whatever happens to me today, I deserve it because my action was wicked.” Adeyemi was arrested at Coker Estate, Shasha, Akowonjo, Lagos, but her husband, who was at the scene, escaped. It took detectives more than five hours before she started talking about how her family had been celebrating, each time a ransom was paid.

Adeyemi was arrested on Wednesday with her housemaid, Henrietta Odili, 16. Investigators said preliminary investigation showed that Odili was also kidnapped. She applied to the family of kidnappers as a housemaid and when she got there, they seized her phone and refused her access to her father. Odili said: “I have not been able to speak with my parents for five months. They do not know whether I’m dead or alive.” The rescue of the kids and Adeyemi’s subsequent arrest came barely days after the SARS team, led by the Officer in Charge, SP Abba Kyari, took over the case.
The state Commissioner of Police, Mr. Kayode Aderanti, said the police rescued the three kids on Tuesday, at Shasha, Egbeda area of Lagos and the suspect, Adeyemi, was arrested on Wednesday at 9:20p.m. at Shasha, Lagos. Aderanti advised people, who want to employ housemaids, to visit the nearest police station.
Detectives believed that the family had been in the kidnap business for long, but Adeyemi said she started just last December and had only taken part in the abduction of the Esharegaran brothers and the Orekoya kids.

The police have also discovered that she used fake names on the OLX portal. A police source revealed how a trap was set for the kidnappers. He said: “Although the suspect and gang members were demanding N15 million, but I gathered that SARS detectives instructed the Orekoyas to pay a fraction of the ransom into the account of an unnamed bank.
“The account was opened in Ibadan, Oyo state. Detectives discovered a link between the contact number on the account and that of the nanny. The gang withdrew N400,000 from the account via ATM.” According to the source, detectives set up surveillance on the account and calls on the mobile phones of members of the syndicate.

Aderanti explained that sensing that the police were closing in on them, . “We encouraged the Orekoyas to maintain communication with the kidnappers. With the information gathered, the team was able to follow the link to where the nanny was arrested. “We know that she did not carry out the crime in isolation. Others are involved. I promise you that in a short while, they would also be arrested.”

Also, Orekoya said: “Due to ongoing investigation and in line with police directives, we shall not disclose the amount paid.” Orekoya added that the kidnappers requested that the money be paid into the account of an undisclosed bank, a ploy which the police asked him to comply with.
However, the state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Kenneth Nwosu, denied knowing if any ransom was paid by the Orekoyas. He said: “We are making frantic effort to arrest other fleeing members of the gang.

12 Nigerian & Ghanian Christian migrants killed following religious clash on a Boat in Italy

12 Nigerian and Ghanian migrants who were traveling on a boat with Muslim migrants from Libya to Italy were this week killed after the Muslims on the boat threw them into the sea following a religious clash on the boat. According to report, the motive for the attack was because the victims 'professed the Christian faith while the aggressors were Muslim'.

The illegal immigrants, 105 of them in number, left Libya on Tuesday in a rubber boat. When they sailed north across the Mediterranean Sea, a fight broke out and the Muslim occupants in the boat, mainly from Ivory Coast, Mali and Senegal engaged in a fight with their fellow immigrants who were Christians and threw 12 of them overboard, Italian police said.

Other Christians who survived the attack on the boat told police that they were spared "because they strongly opposed the drowning attempt and formed a human chain".

The Italian police have arrested 15 of the Muslims that carried out the attack and they will be charged with multiple homicide.

Murder riddle pastor's British wife 'killed by heroin overdose

The case of a British woman allegedly murdered by her pastor husband in Ghana took an astonishing twist last week when a court was told that she died of a heroin overdose.
Hotel staff found the body of pregnant Charmain Speirs face-down in a bath where it is believed she had been lying for four days.
Her husband Eric Isaiah Adusah – a self-proclaimed prophet and evangelical preacher – has been charged with her murder.

Ms Speirs and Mr Adusah, who were married last September, were said to have argued during their stay
Local news reports said an autopsy showed the mother of one died of 'opiate heroin overdose'.
Mr Adusah's defence lawyer Mr Adomako Acheampong has claimed in court that 41-year-old Ms Speirs was a habitual heroin user – and that her whole family were addicted to the drug.
But speaking exclusively to The Mail on Sunday, Ms Speirs's brother Paul said that his sister had never touched drugs and it was 'an outrageous lie' to say his family were all addicts.
He added: 'The defence lawyer seems to be suggesting she had been a heroin addict for years but that's absolute rubbish.'
The gardener, 30, admitted that he had battled heroin addiction – but said it had been Ms Speirs who ensured he sought help at a Christian-run rehabilitation centre near Glasgow. He insisted he had now been drug-free for ten years.
He also said his sister, who had an eight-year-old son from a previous relationship, would not have taken any such substances of her own accord, adding: 'My sister was always against drugs.'

And he rejected the claim that his entire family, including parents Peter, 63, a self-employed plumber, and 61-year-old cleaner Linda, were addicted to drugs, saying: 'My parents can't stand the things.'
He revealed that Charmain's family had been surprised at her 'whirlwind marriage' to Mr Adusah last September and had never trusted him.
And he said that her friends had noticed changes in Ms Speirs after she met and then married 28-year-old Mr Adusah, who was based in Britain but is originally from Ghana.
Ms Speirs grew up in Arbroath in the Angus region of Scotland before moving to Swansea, where she studied photojournalism and then worked as a radiography assistant for the NHS.
Last year she married Mr Adusah, leader of the Global Light Revival Ministries church based in Tottenham, North London. He has been active as a preacher in Britain since 2010. The couple travelled to Ghana early last month so Mr Adusah could preach at a three-day religious rally.
On March 16 after the rally the couple checked in to the upmarket Mac-Dic Royal Plaza Hotel in Koforidua for five days.
But when Mr Adusah left at dawn on their second day, he reportedly told reception staff not to disturb his wife as she was 'fasting and praying', and left a Do Not Disturb notice on the door. Hotel managers became concerned when Ms Speirs would not respond when they knocked.
On March 20, porters used a spare key to gain access and made the grim discovery.
Now her family are desperately seeking answers as they try to piece together fragments of information.
Mr Speirs said: 'We've been left in the cold, we don't know a thing. My mum and dad just want to get Charmain's body back home.' A spokeswoman for the Foreign Office said: 'We are providing consular assistance to the family at this difficult time.'
Mr Adusah has been charged with murder in Ghana and has had his application for bail rejected. He has not yet entered a plea. The case has been adjourned until later this month.

fish rain in Thailand - 4
Hey guys miss us? we back and better..thanks and stay turned.

Photos: “Fish Rain” In Thailand Fishes Gets Litters All Over the Streets After Rainfall in Thailand, amid surprise of passersby hundreds of fishes had flown to the banks of seashore and on the road. Most of fishes found dead. It appeared as if Thailand received a Fish rain. Some passersby try to save fish. The rainy season in Thailand varies from region to region. Very broadly speaking, Thailand’s rainy season can be classified as May/June to October. The river fishing season in Khao Sok National Park is influenced by the monsoon winds from both the Indian and Pacific Ocean. Our fishing locations inside Khao Sok National Park consist of 3 big rivers and 4 smaller streams. All are connected with Cheow Lan Lake. The Bungalow on the lake is placed so that gives us a choice of rivers from different catchment systems. Some people say that fly fishing the Jungle Rivers is difficult. We would say that it’s not difficult but it is different.
